I live in a devil´s They told me But I like it that way, I´ll show you It´s gonna be great You´re gonna see straight Black smoke up the chimney All those men they talk so nice And all the boys a dressed in black They´re all invited to my home tonight Every time I watch them open up the door and spinning words And every time I get onboard the ride Get onboard the ride We could be riding We could be riding all night To the hell with it boys I´m gonna use some in the morning So mighty, gonna leave All the rope tie on the back I seem to overcome the lack Of messing up what´s left and right to me Every little string I break You´ll give me what I need to take Tell us, can you overcome the ride Overcome the ride We could be riding We could be riding all night To the hell with it boys In the morning So mighty

about

100 Years Ago ”Us and then”

This first release from the duo 100 Years Ago is both hard to
categorize in genre and difficult to date. However it encompasses both
psychedelic desert folk, trucker blues, haitian voodoo drumming and
catchy rock'n'roll. And it is entirely recorded, programmed and mixed
in 2009 by the two renowned singers, songwriters and instrumentalists
Ane Trolle and Maria Thimm. Although both are chart
topping hit makers with an automatic attraction of limelight to their
releases, they have managed to put out this record in almost complete
obscurity. This deliberate goal was reached by doing everything
themselves in Ane Trolles Copenhagen living room, from the entire
multilayered instrumentation to the handmade packaging. The record is
only pressed in 300 copies on 10” vinyl. Each comes with enclosed
poster by Mads Westrup and
every sixth record comes in unique hand painted covers by different
artists and the two band members themselves.
